Heian Holistics was formed in May 2007 by Karina Whittington.

At the time Karina was studying for a diploma in Holistic therapies.  She decided once she was a qualified therapist she would like to offer her therapies through her website.  This was then taken further by Karina.  She remembered during  her training how difficult it was to find a good site that sold everything she needed for her course at good prices for students.  With this in mind the idea for the current Heian Holistics website was born.

Karina wanted to intergrate the opportunity for students to make good savings, whilst receiving high quality products.  So Heian holistics was created with the invaluable discount accounts available to students and therapists.

We pride ourselves on customer services.  This business is run by a qualified Holistic therapist and we feel it gives the foundation of the business a highly professional and efficient touch.

What does Heian mean?  Heian is Japanese and means "Peaceful mind".  Karina has also studied martial arts for a number of years and came across this word for katas whilst training.  The name is appropriate because that is what Holistic therapy promotes, a peaceful mind.  Karina believes "to heal the body, you must first heal the mind".
